We use two categories of cookies.
Technical cookies, always active because the website needs them to work; they do not require consent (art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021):
Google Analytics 4 statistics cookies, set only if you click “Accept” in the banner. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not even loaded.
We do not use profiling or advertising cookies: advertising features and Google signals are switched off in Analytics. The website does not embed third-party videos, maps or social widgets.
You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page: if you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
To run the website and protect it from abuse and cyber attacks. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in providing and securing the service (art. 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
To understand how the website is used and improve it, through Google Analytics statistics. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6(1)(a) of the Regulation), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting your browsing.
Browsing data is processed by the hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A. (via San Clemente 53, 24036 Ponte San Pietro BG, Italy), acting as data processor under art. 28 of the Regulation. The servers are located in the European Union.
If you accept statistics cookies, usage data is processed by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), provider of Google Analytics, acting as data processor. Google may transfer some data to the United States: the transfer is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which Google has joined, and on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.
The website contains links to Florence International Week’s social profiles, to the WhatsApp channel and to the venues’ booking pages. As long as you stay on this website, no data is sent to those platforms: they are just links. If you click them you leave this website, and from that moment the privacy policies of Instagram, TikTok, Meta, WhatsApp or the booking system apply, over which we have no control.
Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for as long as technically necessary for security and diagnostics, and then deleted automatically.
Google Analytics statistics are kept for 14 months from your last visit and then deleted automatically. Your cookie choice is remembered for 6 months, after which we ask you again.
At any time you may ask us for access to your data (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), and you may object to processing (Art. 21). We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not profile you (Art. 22).
Write to loris.amatus@gmail.com. We reply within one month.
If you believe the processing of your data infringes Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you may lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, garanteprivacy.it), with the supervisory authority in your country of residence, or bring the matter before a court.
If we change how we process data we will update this page.
